Palm test to cultivate bacteria from samples taken from hands
Bacteria from palms were placed on agar and cultivated in an incubator.
The results are due in 2 days (48 hours).
A point and a pit to prevent an infectious disease
Participants learned the important role water plays in infection prevention.

Which is right? How to live with uncertainty
Participants learned from a fun game how to live with uncertainty.
Infectious disease survival game
Participants engaged in a game to think about how to prepare for an unimaginable
pandemic or outbreak.

Observation and sketches involving the palm bacteria test
Proper hand washing and the correct way to wear masks and hazmat suits
Participants used the GlitterBug training device to check the cleanliness of their hands. They also put on Class I infectious disease hazmat suits and checked to see if they were wearing their masks properly.

Ceremony to award course completion certificates
Everyone received a course completion certificate.
